What makes the Body Egg so unique?
Plus OMEGA 3
Eating a range of foods rich in Omega 3 is important for a healthy functioning body. Omega 3 is a highly unsaturated essential good fat found in a variety of foods such as our Body Egg and FREE RANGE Plus as well as in fish, certain breads containing linseed, different nuts and some green leafy vegetables.
The National Health and Medical Research Council recommends an increase of OMEGA 3 consumption.
This is a B Group Vitamin essential for a healthy body and essential for women planning a family. At least one month prior and during pregnancy 400µg of Folate is the recommended daily intake compared to the recommended adult intake of 200µg per day. By increasing Folate intake before and during pregnancy women may reduce the risk of birth defects such as Spina Bifida in the baby.
An average 55g serving contains 55µg of Folate being 27% of the recommended daily intake.
Plus VITAMIN E
Not only does it assist in promoting healthy skin, Vitamin E acts as a powerful antioxidant useful in mopping up excess free radicals generated by today's style of living.
An average 55g serving contains 8mg Vitamin E.
Happy hens, Better eggs
Chanteclair's contented hens are fed our unique vegetarian diet of natural foods rich in OMEGA 3, FOLATE and VITAMIN E producing a nutritionally superior egg whilst grazing on lucerne and grasses in a FREE RANGE environment.
What's the good oil on eggs?
Our brains contain a high concentration of OMEGA 3 which is readily transferred from mother to baby via breast milk.
